1. Window Sticking or Dropping:

Solution: Tighten any loose screws, especially the ones at the hinge and the top of the stay. Replace worn-out stays or pawls if necessary.
2. Window Not Staying Open:
Misaligned Stay: Friction stays rely on a precise alignment to hold the window open. Misalignment can prevent the stay from engaging properly.
Dirty or Damaged Stay: Dirt and debris can interfere with the smooth operation of the stay.
